Luqa is a town located in the Maltese South. It is a very old town, and it is densely populated. Luqa’s main attraction is the parish church dedicated to St. Andrew. The town holds its traditional feast dedicated to their patron saint on the first Sunday of July, every year. Luqa also was the home of famous inventor and clock maker Michelangelo Sapiano. The clocks found in the Luqa Parish Church are some of the many of his works. Luqa is also home to the Intrernational Airport of Malta.
